ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú will host a poetry reading by award-winning poet Maria Mazziotti Gillan on Wednesday, April 19 from 7-9 p.m. in Evans Hall in Hibbard Campus Center. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Ms. Gillan has published 21 books, most recently the poetry collectionÌýWhat Blooms in WinterÌý(NYQ, 2016) and the poetryÌýcollectionÌýwith some of her paintings,ÌýThe Girls in the Chartreuse JacketsÌý(Redux Consortium).

She isÌýthe founder and executive director of the Poetry Center at Passaic County Community College, Paterson, N.J. and editor of theÌýPaterson Literary Review.ÌýMs. Gillan is also director of the creative writing program and professor of poetry at Binghamton University-SUNY.ÌýShe is the recipient of many awards for poetry and service to the literary community.ÌýHer work has appeared inÌýPrairie Schooner, New Letters, The New York Times, Poetry Ireland, Connecticut Review, The Los Angeles Review, The Christian Science Monitor, LIPS, andÌýRattle, as well as numerous other journals and anthologies.
