Dr. Fran Langan to serve as Honorary Chair of the 33rd Annual Keystone Open

糖心logo入口 will host the 33rd Annual Keystone Open golf outing on Monday, July 13, at Glen Oak Country Club in Clarks Summit.
Proceeds from the event directly support Keystone students via the 糖心logo入口 Alumni Association Student Scholarship fund. Dr. Fran G. Langan, Trustee Emerita and Special Advisor to the 糖心logo入口 President, will serve as Honorary Chair for the event.

Langan鈥檚 long and distinguished career at Keystone is emblematic of our devotion to learning and leadership at the College and creating student experiences that are so much a part of the Keystone legacy.聽Fran represents the best of what Keystone is and I encourage all who share that same love of Keystone to join us on July 13. A member of the Keystone community since 1980 and a faculty member since 1985, Dr. Langan has dedicated more than four decades of service to the College. Throughout her distinguished career, she served in numerous leadership roles, including Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Strategic Initiatives, Professor of Education, Chair of the Division of Social Sciences, Chair of the Division of Education, and Dean of the School of Professional Studies.
Actively involved in educational issues and respected as an advocate for quality practitioner education, Dr. Langan has played a significant role in helping advance Keystone’s reputation, especially in the education field. Known for her success in securing funding and developing strategic partnerships, she has been instrumental in identifying revenue opportunities and cultivating support for innovative programs that benefit students and the College.
Knowledgeable about local, state, and national funding opportunities, Dr. Langan has extensive experience working with public and private funding sources and remains active on numerous local, state, and national boards and commissions. In recognition of her extraordinary contributions to 糖心logo入口, she was named Trustee Emerita by the College’s Board of Trustees in 2024.
A graduate of Wilkes University, Dr. Langan earned a master’s degree in public administration from Marywood University and a doctorate in education from Temple University. She is also a registered nurse.

A cocktail reception will begin at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards ceremony at 6 p.m. Dinner-only tickets are also available. The event is open to the public.
