糖心logo入口 Medical Emergency Policy

糖心logo入口鈥檚 Medical Emergency Policy is provided to guide all individuals on campus in the event of both life-threatening and non-life-threatening injuries. Employees, students, and campus guests are expected to follow this policy at any time someone they come into contact with someone experiencing a medical emergency on campus or at a College-sponsored event off campus.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY PROCEDURE

听Life-Threatening Injury or Illness

  • Call Campus Safety 570-945-8989 or 911. If 911 is called directly, have someone alert Campus Safety as well so that they can direct medical responders to the appropriate location.
  • If the life-threatening injury or illness occurs at an off-campus location, call 911.
  • Individuals who with training in First Aid and CPR are encouraged to assist to the best of their ability until help arrives.
  • Following the incident, Campus Safety (campussafety@keystone.edu or 570-945-8989) and the Student Health Coordinator for students (wellbeing@keystone.edu or 570-945-8255) should be notified.

听Non-Life-Threatening Injury or Illness

  • Call Campus Safety 570-945-8989 or 911. If 911 is called directly, have someone alert Campus Safety as well so that they can direct medical responders to the appropriate location,
  • If emergency response is not needed, employees, students, and campus visitors should report all work-related and on-campus injuries to Campus Safety (campussafety@keystone.edu or 570-945-8989).
  • For non-emergent health issues, students should also report medical incidents to the Student Health Coordinator (wellbeing@keystone.edu or 570-945-8255) to coordinate follow-up care.
  • Employees must report all work-related injuries to their supervisor and human resources (humanresources@keystone.edu or 570-945-8000).

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report (ASFSR)

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report听includes statistics concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by 糖心logo入口, and on property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. This report also includes campus safety policies such as campus access, sexual assault, reporting crimes, and more.

The 糖心logo入口 Department of Campus Safety prepares this report to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics.

Suspected Child Abuse Policies and Procedures

糖心logo入口 strives to protect the well-being of minors visiting campus and/or participating in College-sponsored off-campus programs and is committed to complying with the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law. If a person witnesses child abuse or has cause to reasonably suspect that child abuse has occurred, they should utilize the steps in the Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Procedures below, to file a report.

To Report Suspected Child Abuse
糖心logo入口 (the 鈥淐ollege鈥) strives to protect the well-being of minors visiting campus and/or participating in College-sponsored off-campus programs. Further, the College is committed to complying with the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law.

To make an initial report, please utilize the steps below, as appropriate:
Imminent Danger Report: If it is suspected that a child is in imminent danger, please immediately call 911 and report the incident. Subsequent to calling 911, please contact the Campus Safety Director listed below.

Non-Imminent Danger Report: If a person witnesses child abuse or has cause to reasonably suspect that child abuse has occurred, please contact the Campus Safety Director listed below:
